If the organisers of the Shoalhaven Ex-Servicemen's Club Shoalhaven River Festival were trying to create a vibrant family-friendly event then we can tell that they succeeded.
The festival was held on Saturday, October 26 and was a well-attended event.
The steady lane of people strolling down to attend the event, held on and around the picturesque Shoalhaven River, showed just how popular the festival is and it's now in its seventh year.
Last year's event attracted more than 10,000 people and when the final figures are tallied the 2019 crowd tally could equal or even surpass the 2018 figure.
Saturday's event literally had something for everyone to enjoy.
It had great music, tasty food, market stalls, displays of sheer speed on the river, dancing, fireworks and much more.
The theme of the festival was Spirit Of The River.'
Spirit Of The River' was a presentation in the evening which acknowledged and celebrated our Indigenous community's connection to the Shoalhaven River.
