The Bureau of Meteorology has forecast a high of 30 degrees for Wednesday, October 23, and Thursday, October 24. Friday temperatures may hit 35 degrees.
Those who struggle to get quality sleep in the heat needn't worry, as overnight temperatures are predicted to be in the mid teens for the rest of the week.
Sadly the warm, mild conditions won't stick around over the weekend - Saturday, October 26 is forecast to be 27 degrees but windy, and Sunday is predicted to peak at 21 degrees.
The fire danger rating for the region is very high, although a total fire ban is not in place.
