In an email to Labor's local government committee, Cr Alldrick said she would not be running at the next council election.
"After much discussion with my family I have made the decision not to run in the 2020 Local Government election," Cr Alldrick said in the email.
"I need to work more over the next couple of years as I transition to retirement."

She warned against Labor selecting Cr Proudfoot as a candidate, saying he had not always voted with Labor values.
"I would also urge caution in preselecting Councillor Proudfoot as a Labor candidate," she said.
"Before doing so you need to be completely confident that he knows what is required of him as a Labor councillor and that he will vote according to Labor policy and values.
"His record show this not to have always been the case in the past."
In the email, Cr Alldrick said the committee should think hard if running a mayoral candidate was "really beneficial" to the Labor Party.
"Unless we have a candidate who is capable of doing the job better than the current mayor we are better off not running a candidate just for the sake of it," she said.
She also spoke about her wish for Labor to oust the "conservative bullies" on council and despite not running said she would help the campaign as much as possible.
