Nowra Toastmasters Club is running a speechcraft course at Shoalhaven Campus, University of Wollongong, starting next month.
The speechcraft course is short, practical and ideal for the novice speaker who wants to learn the basics of public speaking quickly in a supportive, friendly environment.
Everyone is involved in all activities, learning new skills, making new friends and having fun.
The speechcraft course will help you:
- Gain confidence in public speaking
- Develop communication skills
- Develop presentation skills
- Control nervousness
- Learn to think quickly and speak well
- Use gestures effectively
- Engage your audience
- Use visual aids well
- Gain Self Confidence
Booking are essential as there's only 12 positions available. Cost is $270 for six weeks tuition.
Dates and times:
- October 17, 24 and 31
- November 7, 14 and 21
- 6.45pm for a 7pm start, running to 9.30pm
