THE Callala Brumbies have kept their Shoalhaven District Football Association women's first grade season alive by downing Huskisson White 1-nil in Tuesday's minor semi-final.

Despite finishing the season in fourth, the Brumbies proved their class against the third-placed Seagulls at Ison Park, thanks to a first half goal by Alicia Broome.
The Brumbies will now face Shoalhaven Heads-Berry Blue in next week's preliminary final, after the Sharks lost 9-nil to Illaroo Red in Tuesday's major semi-final.
The nine-goal win, which books the undefeated Roos spot in the decider, was set-up by goals from Amanda Carney (four), Kalinda Wills (two), Jessica Beahan, Samantha Lloyd and Jessica Muir.
Heads will face Callala at 8pm on Tuesday, September 10 at Ison Park.

While in the women's second grade, penalties were needed to split Bomaderry and St Georges Basin Red in the major semi-final.
The match ended at 4-all, thanks to goals from Dragons' Sarah Devries (33rd minute), Samantha Barnhill (34th), Robyn Glasson (44th) and Ashleigh Gehrels (62nd) - with Meisha Vallentine (22nd and 47th), Tanae Ruttley (11th) and Danielle Thompson (53rd) finding the back of the net for the Tigers.
But the Dragons held their nerves from the spot and won the shootout 3-2, to book their place in the decieder.
The Tigers will now face Callala in the preliminary final, after the Brumbies held on to defeat Shoalhaven United 1-nil, thanks to a strike from Anna Gardner.
Bomaderry and Callala will battle for the second grand final spot from 6pm next Tuesday.
