The team has been selected from the initial 40-person squad that was announced in June following the conclusion of the Hockey NSW Open State Championships.
Hockey One starts in the last weekend of September and will comprise of seven home-and-away rounds, culminating in semi-finals and a double header men's and women's grand final day in November.
The NSW Pride's campaign will get underway on September 29 at Sydney Olympic Park Hockey Centre, when they take on the Adelaide Fire in a big first-up clash.
The club will play two further home games during October against the Tassie Tigers and Hockey Club Melbourne.
The club will boast one of the strongest line-ups in the competition, with a number of current Hockeyroos, including Stewart, in the team.
Powell has both opted for a mixture of youth and experience in her team, which includes six under 21s players.
One of the most notable inclusions in the teams is Illawarra's Casey Sablowski.
The former Hockeyroo retired from international hockey in mid-2018 and gave birth to second son Lewis only five months ago in March.
Sablowski put herself through a rigorous fitness schedule in order to be considered for selection and was rewarded with a spot in the final 20-woman team from Powell.
Powell is confident that her team has what it takes to claim the inaugural Hockey One title.
"Many of these girls have played together for several years in various state and national teams, so they're very comfortable working together on the field," Powell said.
"We've got a lot of depth and some fantastic young players who have already shown they can handle themselves at the top level.
"It will be an experience for them to play in front of a packed home-crowd for the first time."
Joining the Kiama High School alumna in the Pride squad are Alice Arnott, Jocelyn Bartram, Morgan Blamey, Emily Chalker, Katie Hanna, Greta Hayes, Kate Jenner, Sarah Johnston, Georgina Morgan, Kaitlin Nobbs, Jess Parr, Mikaela Patterson, Ranae Robinson, Caseu Sabolwski, Courtney Schonnell, Maddison Smith, Jessica Watterson, Mariah Williams and Abigail Wilson.
