The show is expected to feature a spectacular display of flowering orchids from growers throughout the region.
Admission to the show is free throughout the weekend and one lucky visitor is going to win a beautiful orchid as a lucky door prize.
You can also win some beautiful orchids in the raffle or even a family pass to Nowra Zoo and Adventure World; a very handy prize with school holidays on the way.
Expect a large variety of orchids in full flower on display on the benches including exotic and rarely seen orchids from around the world, as well as the very popular cymbidiums, slipper orchids and a great selection of our own Australian natives.
Society members will be available throughout the weekend to help answer questions on growing orchids. You never know, this may be just the hobby you are looking for.
As usual there will be a well-stocked sales table with a large range of orchids, books and growing accessories for sale at very reasonable prices.
This is a great way for growers to expand their orchid collection and for beginners to find some easy to grow starter plants. It will certainly be worth a visit.
The society holds monthly meetings at the Bomaderry Bowling Club on the third Monday of each month except January. Visitors are most welcome.
