The Bureau of Meteorology predicts temperatures will reach 23 degrees on Friday, August 16, dip to a max of 17 on Saturday, August 17, before climbing back up to 22 on Sunday, August 18.
The weekend is set to be partly cloudy, with winds up to 30km/h on Friday, dropping to 15-20km/h on Saturday.
Sadly, it's not set to last, with temperatures dropping back into the teens on Monday and staying there - but the momentary reprieve might be enough to thaw out anyone feeling like Frosty the Snowman.
Although daytime temperatures will be high over the next few days, nights will still have a bite, with a low of four degrees on Thursday night and lows between seven and nine degrees over the weekend.
