It is understood Shoalhaven City Council will approve the application for the controversial development in Meroo Meadow at tonight's meeting, Tuesday, August 6.
The council's website says on December 11, 2014, a pre-lodgement meeting was held for a development described as a 37-lot subdivision.
On October 19, 2016, the applicant lodged a formal development application.
Since then, there have been a number of complaints from nearby residents about the proposed development - up to 87 - and a number of changes to the original application.
The resident said the width of the road was inadequate for current traffic, and would be overloaded with traffic from the proposed development.
"Children play out the front of their houses, and someone could hit a child - that's my fear," he said.
"When the bins are collected, you can't get out of the street, unless you drive on somebody's front lawn.
"People try to get from one end to the other as quickly as possible, because there isn't enough room for two vehicles to pass."
Currently, the application seeks consent for a 15-lot Torrens title subdivision, and associated site works, including an extension to Emerald Drive.
The council agenda notes if approval is refused, the applicant may appeal the decision at the NSW Land and Environment Court.
