Serena Kate O'Reilly, of Sanctuary Point, pleaded guilty to high-range drink driving in Nowra Local Court, where Magistrate Roger Clisdell also ordered she have an interlock device fitted to her vehicle for two years when he sentenced her on July 15.
Court papers said O'Reilly returned a reading of 0.158 after being stopped by South Coast Highway Patrol officers near the intersection of Island Point Road and Grange Road at St Georges Basin around 1.15am on April 6.
Police said O'Reilly was slightly dishevelled, her eyes were glazed and watery, her breath smelt strongly of alcohol and officers considered her "well affected".
She returned a positive breath test, telling police she had started drinking at 6pm the previous day at a private residence in Nowra.
She consumed five self-mixed vodka drinks, finishing drinking around 11.30pm and had only eaten two chicken skewers during that time.
Officers discovered she was a provisional driver and should have had a zero alcohol limit.
She was taken to the newly opened Basin Police Station where she produced her breath reading of 0.158.
