The money will fund the program Our Story, Our Journey which will help support Aboriginal services to become NDIS providers.
Cullunghutti CEO Tara Leslie said she was over the moon and excited to start the project.
Ms Leslie said the program would put the centre's experiences and insights into a web-based platform where stories and yarns would help teach other services how to gain NDIS accreditation.
Cullunghutti Aboriginal and Family Centre partnered with Mirri Mirri Productions to create a culturally appropriate website.
"It is important Aboriginal people have access to Aboriginal run services," Ms Leslie said.
NDIS minister Stuart Robert said ten organisations had received a share of $5.7 million to develop practical tools and resources to help NDIS providers meet requirements.
These grants are the first under the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission's four-year $17.6 million investment.
"With over 7,000 current NDIS providers and nearly 120,000 current participants in NSW and South Australia, the government wants to make sure the organisations - some of which are small and regionally located - have the resources to best support people with disability," Mr Robert said.
"The NDIS requires a robust provider network that can support people with disability wherever they live and whatever their needs, which is why the government is providing this funding.
"What is so great about this program is the tools and resources they develop will be informed by experts in the industry and with insights of providers and participants and will be available to all NDIS providers across the country."
