The Nowra High School student won all nine events she contested in the 16 years girls category, including breaking five records - three of which were held since 1978.
One of the records Check broke was the 100m sprint, which she clocked a time of 12.5 seconds, shaving 0.3 seconds off the 1978 mark.
What makes that event so special is that one of her coaches, former Olympian Paul Greene, still holds the corresponding time for the 16 year boys, which he set in 1988.

Check, who is also coached by and former international javelin representative Peter Lawler, took almost one second off the 200m record (was 27.4, now 26.5) set in 1978.
The final record she broke from 1978 was the long jump, a distance (5.66m) she bettered by 95cm.
Check also added 4cm and 77cm respectively to the high jump (1.64m) and triple jump (10.85m) marks.
Although not record setting performances, Check also won the shot put (10.14m), javelin (26.5m) and discus (23.03m) - with the latter's personal best mark being even more impressive as it isn't one of the seven disciplines she trains for as a heptathlete.
Check finished off the meet with a gold in the 4x100m relay.
She will now prepare for regional championships in Canberra on Friday, August 2, where she will contest all the aforementioned events as well as the 100m hurdles.
