At the Huskisson Sporting Field, David Hampton opened the Seagulls' account in the third minute before the Seahawks responded through Mitchell Negus in the 12th minute.
The even ledger lasted less than a minute as Braidon Campbell restored the hosts' one-goal advantage.
Gary Masterson (26th minute) was the next to score for the Seagulls before an own-goal by Nathan Mcnamara (40th) and Ryan's first, in the 43rd minute, made it 5-1 at the break.
Ryan scored his second in the 77th minute before Simon Reid found the back of the net for the visitors eight minutes later.
Lewis Archibald iced the solid win with the Seagulls' seventh in the 88th minute.
"Obviously scoring seven goals is really positive, but I'm more pleased that everyone is chipping in and we weren't just relying on one or two guys to shoulder the scoring load," Seagulls coach Rob Hawker said.
While Hawker is stoked to be sitting at the top of the table at this point of the season, he knows there's still plenty of work to be done.
"We are obviously a very different team from last year, with more experienced players in the squad - it has taken us a while to start to click and develop some nice combinations, through plenty of hard work," he said.
"We are in a great position at the moment but it will all be meaningless unless we continue to build and play the way I know we are capable of.
"There's no reason why we can't go all the way this year, with the talent and depth we have at the club.
"I know the guys still around from last year are desperate to make amends for what happened.
"Every player that has pulled on a Seagulls jersey during the past couple of seasons, has helped us get to the position we are today."
As happy as Hawker is, he knows his team needs to improve defensively and get back to being one of the league's stingiest teams.
"Last year, we were close to the best defensive team in the competition, and we need to get back to that level, if we want to continue to grow," he said.
"On top of that, we need to be more accurate in front of goals - I know we scored seven on Saturday but we probably had enough chances to score double that."
Hawker also said the next six weeks would be key for his side's competition championship aspirations, with games against Shoalhaven United, Milton-Ulladulla, Illaroo, Culburra, Bomaderry and St Georges Basin on the horizon.
The win keeps Huskisson (25 points) three points clear of Bomaderry, who edged Culburra 3-2 at Bomaderry Oval.
Goals from Jordan Haddow, Ben Seyffer and Dale Russell sealed all three points for Kevin Jackson's troops, while Kasey Kulcsar and Tom Matthews scored for the Cougars.
Two points further back are Illaroo, who used a Brendan Thorpe goal in the 23rd minute, to oust St Georges Basin 1-nil.
Elsewhere in round 11, Manyana and Shoalhaven United had to settle for a draw, after the match ended at 1-all.
At the Manyana Sports Field, Matthew Leather opened the day's scoring in the 42nd minute, which gave the hosts the lead until Connor Hughes levelled the scores in the 75th minute for the Bears - forcing the pair to share the spoils.
The final match of the round also ended in a 1-all draw, with Milton-Ulladulla being held by Shoalhaven Heads-Berry at Lighthouse Oval.
The Panthers' goal was scored by Brent Anderson, while Christopher Agar found the back of the net for the Sharks.
