Falls in the Milton-Ulladulla area began after noon on Sunday with 32.2mm recorded at the Ulladulla Area Weather Station.
Sprinkling rain continues to fall in Ulladulla on Monday morning.
Further north Bendalong received a dumping of 22.6mm, Jervis Bay Airfield area weather station [AWS] recorded 40.2mm, Nowra Boat Shed recorded 13mm and Nowra's RAN AWS recorded 9.4mm.
In Nowra, conditions are predicted to ease over the week as mostly sunny weather returns, but temperatures may be plummet with maximums of 16 degrees on Wednesday, 15 on Thursday and 13 on Friday.
Milton-Ulladulla residents can expect cloudy weather from Tuesday to Thursday with possible thunderstorms next weekend.
It's warmer in the water than outside with sea temperatures along the south coast about 21 degrees.
