AUSTRALIAN Football on the South Coast broke new ground on Sunday with the launch of its new Shoalhaven Under 13 girls competition.
It's inaugural day of competition, where scores aren't recorded, saw the Shoalhaven Giants host the Ulladulla Dockers at West Street Oval and Bay and Basin Bombers entertain the Bomaderry Tigers at Vincenita - with the Batemans Bay Seahawks having the bye in round one.
The action will continue this Sunday, when the Batemans Bay Seahawks play their first ever game.
They will host the Shoalhaven Giants at Hanging Rock on Sunday morning.
The other match this round will see the Bomaderry Tigers once again hit the road, this time travelling down to the Ulladulla Sporting Complex to play the Dockers.
The Bay and Basin Bombers have the bye in round two.
