WWPSWC
Rain overnight and a cold windy morning, did not deter eleven of our members turning up at the Country club, to play in a Stableford Event. The winner of today's event was The Boy Wonder with a great 21 points, next was the Mayor with 18 points out for his usual walk and a chat with his mates. Third was Benjo with 17 points on a countback. The surprise of the day was President Scrooge turning up with his golf clubs after a two and a half year golf absence. Scrooge went up to the Captain Handicapper and asked what handicap he could have for his first game back. After receiving no sympathy from the captain and in fact wondering what he had done wrong, to receive such a meager handicap. In fact the Handicapper was heard to say to Scrooge, how do I know that you have not been playing in Pro Am games, while you have not been playing with the WWPSWC. It looks like the Captain then started to feel sorry and decided the change the handicapping system to help the poor golfers like Scrooge to win a share of our events. Members who did not hear what these changes are need to be tuned in. Scrooge finished winning the Mars Bar for the day. Nearest the pin on the 10th went to Weet Bix and the Drive and Pitch went to the Boy Wonder. Next week we are at Sussex Inlet hit off at 7.45 am.

Winner in Division Two, our President Dell Buckley came through in the fourth round with a strong performance to take the prize. Division Three went to our new member Wendy Stevenson who played consistently over the competition. So much so that she also lost a shot over the competition period and moved up to Division Two. Congratulations to all our competitors.
