After dropping their first two games on the road to Wollongong Lions (10.10-70 to 1.5-11) and Kiama Power Lightning (17.11-133 to 1.1-7), the black and gold had hoped a return to Artie Smith Oval would have kick started their 2019 AFL South Coast season.
But the Dion Larkins' coached team fell 11.5-71 to 4.6-30 to the Kiama Power Thunder side - in a much improved effort from the hosts.
In the loss, the goals were kicked by Oliver Halls, Hayden Muffet, Hayden Batson and Keanu Clarke.
Joining this quartet in Larkins' squad were Cooper Bramley, Thomas Richards, Daniel Morrison, Lachlan Almond, Jasper Arnold, Ryan Johnstone, William Maher, Hans Tangen, Samuel Phillips, Sebastian Tunney-Roberts, Codie Angilley, Samuel Maher, Charlie Dunn, Hayden Royals, Cayden Lewis, Brynn Carlile, Keanu King and Baxter Scully.
The Tigers next play on Sunday, May 19 at Bomber Oval against the Figtree Kangaroos from 2.50pm.
