Despite the consistent surf on Anzac Day, it was anything but a memorable day for the South Coast's WSL contingent.
Gerroa's Sally Fitzgibbons was knocked out in heat six of round three by Hawaii's Malia Manuel, who won11.04 to 9.83.
While Hawaii's Seth Moniz continued to strengthen his campaign for 2019 CT Rookie of the Year, taking down fellow rookie Mikey Wright (Culburra Beach).
Wright opted to sit up the top of Winiki, while Moniz got busy at Lowers, even posting an excellent single-wave score to put Wright in a combination situation (needing two scores) and take the win 14.00 to 8.50.
The only South Coast product to remain in contention is Culburra Beach's Owen Wright, who will battle New Zealand's Ricardo Christie in heat 11 of the third round on Friday.
