Everyone dreams of their next getaway or holiday and making sure your hard-earned money is well spent on your travels, means turning to the professionals.
italktravel & cruise in Nowra has been operating for 31 years - more than enough time to build solid experience and knowledge.
Owner Emma Longford said they started the business when there was a need for qualified and professional travel agents in the area and they wanted to show people the world.
"Shoalhaven residents were starting to venture abroad and needed a travel agent that offered that service," she said.
"My first job in the agency was in 1989 stamping brochures as a Saturday morning job. I grew up in the agency learning from my parents about the business. Today I am very proud to continue the Longford name in travel."
There are five employees at italktravel & cruise, three are full-time qualified and accredited agents, one part-time travel consultant/marketing assistant and a casual office junior.
"We offer a unique take on travel," Emma said. "All air, rail, cruise and coach travel products are our business but with a twist so you explore and learn about your destination. We offer small escorted groups to destinations around the world. Bringing something special and magical to your itinerary."

Emma said their small escorted groups to destinations around the world were all about those special, magical and unique travel experiences.
"They are always personal and tailored, never predictable or simply 'off the shelf'. We experience first hand, then innovate and optimise travel solutions to create truly memorable experiences for our customers. We believe in enduring relationships that keep customers coming back time and again," she said.
"We are always optimising the best deal for our customers, we believe in 'talk, not just click' - to talk through travel experiences with our highly motivated, inspired team who seek to delight customers.
"It is more important than ever to book with an accredited agent with ATAS to know your holiday and money is secure. There is a real trend back to the 'bricks and mortar' travel agents - away from online bookings," Emma said.
The business sponsors Vincentia Van Gogh's Rugby Club, Nowra Albatross Football Club, St Michael's School country fair, Nowra Hill Public School fundraising and Feed for Farmers.
All staff are involved with a club in the area from Berry Riding Club, Cambewarra Pony club, Vincentia Rugby Club, Barnstorming Fitness to Nowra/Albatross AFL Club. One of their consultants is currently participating in the Shoalhaven Professional Business Association mentor program.
