The Happy Sounds Community singing group continues to sing each Friday morning at the Senior Citizens Centre, 33 Berry Street Nowra.

The group was recently fortunate to receive a community grant from the NSW Department of Family and Community Services.
State Member for Kiama, Gareth Ward, generously came along to sing with the group recently, and present the cheque.
The funds will enable the group to sing throughout the year.
It's wonderful to have several more groups attending as part of their weekly outings like Nowra Day Care, Shoalhaven Neighbourhood Services, IRT Greenwell Gardens.
We would love to have more groups to attend and we have welcomed many new 'just seniors who love to sing' recently.
They contribute greatly to the volunteer helping, welcoming old and newcomers, sorting the morning tea and coffees, encouraging conversation between all participants.
If you are interested just come along and join in between 10.30 am to 12pm each Friday morning, except for school holidays.
