A South Nowra retailer is offering to take your old fire alarm batteries and replace them with new ones at no cost on March 30-31.

Battery World Australia is offering free smoke alarm batteries to customers - the only catch is you have to bring the old ones in to the local store to be swapped.
The company is capping it at 20 batteries per household.
Battery World is also encouraging people to look at putting an alarm in the hallway leading to their garage - there has been a number of recent house fires that have started in the garage.
Battery World's Shoalhaven store is located at 218 Princes Highway, South Nowra.
