PENNANT RESULTS ROUND 4. GRADE 3 V MOLLYMOOK (AWAY) Won 2 Games to 1 (total score 67 to 49). Wins by J.Dallas & Geoff Blackshaw's teams reversed the Rd1 loss to Mollymook this time away from home. Good to see John's team win after the anchor that was holding them back was cut loose (that would be me LOL). GRADE 5 V SUSSEX INLET RSL (HOME) Lost 1 Game to 2 (total score 56 to 63) a good win by Allan Gardiner's team (including the anchor) just wasn't enough to get the overall win. An interesting fact after 4 rounds both grade 3 & 5 have lost both home games and won both away games (any thoughts???).

Recent matches completed in the Major Pairs Championship were David Badger and Adam Rigney who defeated the defending Champions Ben Watson and Paul Bezant 26-16. The other match played found Neil Robinson and Peter Delamont in form that could not be matched by Terry Bezant and Mark Power on the day and they called it a day at end 18 with the score 35-10 against them.
Social play Wednesday 13th consisted of two matches of pairs and three of two bowl triples. The wet weather this week did not deter our intrepid bowlers and both days enjoyed good turnouts. Wednesday witnessed five triples matches against the Nowra/Bomaderry RLS as well as three games of Social Triples. Saturday was an overcast, cool afternoon. We had the Grade 4 teams at home to Callala and the Grade 6 away to Milton/Ulladulla for Pennant matches. As well as this we had 8 players competing in two games of Mixed Social Pairs.
Wednesday 13th March we were using both Greens. Early rain slowed both Greens.
