When we made our regular visit to Nowra Local Court on Thursday, we got wind of something big going down. Turns out it was a major drug bust at Callala. Police are alleging a multi-million drug syndicate was operating out of house in the normally sleepy village, using the dark web to distribute their contraband.

Down in Milton, freelance camera operator Darryl Gama faced court charged with photographing young girls for his own sexual gratification. The case will be back before the court on February 28.
A shadow has been cast over the future of the highly successful Fairgrounds festival held in Berry in the wake of tough new licensing requirements imposed by the NSW government. It would be a shame if red tape ruined an event that brings millions of dollars into the local economy each year.
