On January 15, KPMG's Brendan Richards and Gayle Dickerson were appointed voluntary administrators after a "particularly tough" Christmas sales period for the chain.
In a statement, Mr Richards said the company’s operations would be “wound down” in the next six to eight weeks.
“Despite a thorough sale campaign being undertaken, there has been limited interest from the market in the business as a going concern,” he said.
The Nowra store employs six people, with 498 people employed at the chain nationwide.
The Stockland Nowra store will immediately commence a final closing down sale to clear all remaining merchandise.
The South-Australia based company was established in 1993 and relaunched in 2011, operating 87 stores nationwide.
Ed Harry managing director David Clark thanked the local Ed Harry team for their support and efforts throughout recent weeks.
“Our hard working Nowra team members and customers have been incredibly supportive and on behalf of the directors I just want to say thank you, this is a sad time for all those who have put so much into our business,” said Mr Clark.
