After Berry posted 99 in their first innings, Norths responded with 126, thanks to Michael Davey (32) and Brett Mark (20) – with Ted Street taking 5/18 for the Magpies.
In their second dig, Berry exploded to declared at 0/158 from 27 overs, thanks to Stewart Higgins (104 not out) and Patrick Higgins (47 not out).
But Berry couldn’t take the quick wickets they were after, to secure the outright points, as Norths finished the day at 4/64 from their 35 overs.
Both Hayden Batson (20 not out) and Samuel Neri (20) batted well for the visitors, while Joshua Weakley (3/12) and Jarrod Griffith (1/14) took wickets for Berry, in the loss.
The other two matches this round saw Shoalhaven Ex-Servicemens and Bomaderry win on forfeits against Batemans Bay and Ulladulla United respectively.
