Carnivals and festivities
There’s plenty to do on New Year’s Eve for the young and young at heart.
Ulladulla Harbourside Festival
Highlighting features include the nightly carnival, with rides and activities. Flavours of the world twilight food market, cultural dance performance, fireworks and live music. This is an alcohol-free event.
Shoalhaven City Turf Club race day, and night time carnival
The Archer Racecourse, Nowra holds a New Year's Eve race day. Once the races are finished, the fun continues with live entertainment, jumping castle and a fireworks display. Sit on the lawn or book one of the packages and enjoy the fun of country racing at its best. Great atmosphere for families with free jumping castle for the children.
Berry Family Fun Night
The Fireworks Spectacular and Family Fun Night at the Berry Showground is going to be bigger and better than ever. The Rotary Club of Berry's New Years Eve event is one not to be missed.
The fun starts at 5pm with free games for the children to play in the middle of the showground. Traditional good old fashioned games, like horseshoe quoits, knock down the cans, sack races, pass the ball and more will be available free of cost where the kids can let their hair down and have a ball of a time, while the grown ups set up the picnic blankets.
The ever popular ShowMow lawn mower racing will wow the crowds.
There is also market day variety stalls, food vendors and an exciting range of carnival-style rides providing options for the whole family to have a great time in the lead up to, and after the main event at 9pm - the magnificent fireworks spectacular which will light up the night skies.
Families are always encouraged to bring a rug and make a real picnic night of it and enjoy the beautiful surrounds of the Berry Showground.
Entry: $5 per person. Children under 15 are free.

New Year's Eve Intention Setting in Milton
Using a powerful combination of guided body awareness meditation, sankulpa (yogic resolve or promise to yourself), visualisation, relaxation and journaling you will spent time fine tuning your intentions and dreams for the year to come. Bring a notebook and a pen, and if you have a special item like a crystal or special piece of jewellery bring that too. Affirmation cards will be available in the sacred circle to inspire you and give guidance should you need it. This workshop has a personal focus and you will not be asked to share your reflections and intentions. Jervis Bay Wild Fireworks Cruise
Join the New Year’s Eve Fireworks cruise on-board Port Venture. She has five viewing stations, disabled access and disabled amenities on board.
Cruise the pristine clear waters of Jervis Bay Marine Park and perhaps you may see some of our resident Bottlenose dolphins along the way. Cruise boards at 6.45pm and returns at 9.30pm.
