Spillane and her NSW under 17 youth girls squad have been split into two teams for the championships, with the St John the Evangelist Catholic High School student named in the White Team.
Joining Spillane in the White Team are Gardinia Faalogo, Viena Tinao, Falika Pohiva, Casey Tohi-Hiku, Louisa Yarranamua, Jada Taylor, Grace Tokabobo, Litiana Tiufua, Mia Enright, Jaime Chapman and Bronti Westaway.
The youth girls head coach Kieran Smith said all his girls will be up for the challenge next week.
“Queensland are clearly the team to beat having won the past two tournaments and they have home ground advantage,” Smith said.
“”We are ready for the challenge though.
“We have trust in our preparation, trust in our systems, and trust in our players.
“We’re confident we’ll put in a good performance."
The National Championships, which will also see two NSW men’s and youth boys’ compete, will be held from December 7-9 at Ballymore.
