
A Nowra youth charged with stealing a man’s phone and tobacco earlier this year and being involved in an incident in the Nowra skate park in 2017 in which a number of teenagers were assaulted and robbed has been placed on a good behaviour bond.

The 17-year-old was found guilty of robbing a man of a mobile phone and tobacco in Nowra between 4.15am and 4.20am on February 14.
He was also found guilty of charges of break and enter with intent and damaging property.
The youngster was also found guilty of two counts of assault occasioning actual bodily harm, common assault and affray in relation to an incident at the Nowra skate park on March 24 last year as a 16-year-old where a number of teens were assaulted and robbed at knifepoint.
The teenager was charged with two Nowra men after a number of teens at the park were assaulted and robbed with a skateboard, portable music speakers and a bicycle allegedly stolen.
Two teenagers required hospital treatment for minor injuries.
Nowra Children’s’ Court Magistrate David Williams placed the youth on a 12-month probation order.
