
AFTER a successful 2018 Tarsha Gale season, in which the team went within one game of making the grand final, coach Daniel Lacey has unveiled his Illawarra Steelers squad for the upcoming season.

Once again, Lacey’s 32-person squad is headlined by Group Seven products – with 15 players originating from the South Coast competition.
The largest contingent comes from the Milton-Ulladulla Bulldogs, with eight players coming from the club, including Taniesha Roberts, Keele Browne, Sophie Morris, Ally England, Georgie Fitzpatrick, Ella Conlon, Meg Buchanan and Hannah Koglin.
Others from Group Seven include Stingrays of Shellharbour sextet Madi Singleton, Riley Scott, Teagan Berry, Rhiannon Tungai, Alex Wallace and Bronte Girdler as well as Bomaderry’s Emily France.
Joining these 15 in Lacey’s squad are Helenburgh’s Michaela Scutts, Shannon Scutts, Emily Andrews and Olivia Vale, Thirroul’s Piper Favelle, Berkeley’s Tiana Graham, Eleni Amone, Ula-Mari Time-Cribb, Viena Tinao, Maddison Weatherall, Koniseti Tinao, Mollie Bonham and Mikayla Kidd, Woonona-Bulli’s Jayme Millard and Chelsea Aylett and Corrimal’s Chantel Tugaga and Nancy Misa.
All players will commence training on Tuesday, November 27 at the University of Wollongong, with the final squad to be named early next year.
