The scholarship helps young musicians from Bomaderry to Eden and saw siblings Luke, Daniel and Hannah Bowen from Bomaderry and Albert Au perform on stage.
Fifteen-year-old Luke impressed at the finalists concert, held on Sunday, November 18 in Batemans Bay.
Luke captivated the audience with his rendition of ‘Jeau d' eau’ (Ravel) and was awarded third prize for Senior Classical and South Coast Music Society Prize for Classical Music.
Richard Edwards from the St Cecilia Committee thanked Luke, Hannah and Daniel and Albert for their beautiful performances.
“They all overcame their nerves and performed on piano extremely well at the auditions in the classical music section,” he said.
“The judges were very impressed with their playing, especially as Albert and Daniel are only nine. Hannah showed her versatility by also performing in the contemporary section.”
