It was also the premier Functional Fitness Festival where the fittest everyday athletes and teams from around Australia came to Huskisson to showcase the heart and dedication required to compete against the most determined weekend warriors.
The games were the brainchild of a small group in Jervis Bay, inspired by the CrossFit Games who saw the opportunity to bring that style of event to the beautiful Jervis Bay.
Husky’s White Sands Park was packed full of people cheering on the competitors and soaking up the atmosphere.
The fun run, which raised money for the Shoalhaven Homeless Hub, was another important and successful part of the games.
Established in 2017, the games quickly gained momentum after a blockbuster battle to determine who would be crowned the first ever ‘Boss of the Bay’.
The 2018 games was an amazing weekend of competition and it had a vast array of new and challenges for the teams' event.
