Wet and windy weather contributed to two car crashes in the spaces of just two hours on the region’s roads on Wednesday.

The first crash occurred at The Wool Road, St Georges just before 12pm on November 7.
The male driver in his 30s collided with a tree and became trapped in his vehicle. Emergency services freed the man before he was taken by ambulance to Shoalhaven Hospital with minor injuries.
The second crash occurred around 2pm on the Princes Highway at Basin View, about 30 metres from The Wool Road intersection.
The 50-year-old male driver was driving south on the highway before he too left the road and collided with a tree.
The man was treated at the scene for minor injuries and was transported to Shoalhaven Hospital by ambulance.
