In round one, at Queenscliff Beach, Zustovich won the under 17 men’s beach flags event before finishing seventh overall in the open men’s beach flags, while Lewis placed fifth in the open women’s beach flags.
Not to be outdone, Scrivener, 19, came third in the open men’s beach flags, while finishing seventh in the open men’s beach sprint.
Round two will run from November 9-10, before round three in North Wollongong (December 14-15), Currumbin (January 11-12) and Surfers Paradise (February 1-2) before the finals, which have yet to be confirmed.
