Ryan Malecki (32), Harry Wood (7), Riley Ingram (8) and Jackson Riley (11) started well but a loss of quick wickets saw Shoalhaven bowled out for 76.
In reply, Shoalhaven had South Coast in trouble at 4/16. However, two strong partnership saw South Coast reach the runs on 8/76. Best bowlers for the Shoalhaven were Campbell Bramley (3 for 9 off 4 overs), Flynn Dunn (2 for 6 off 2 overs) and Tobias Eyland (2 for 10 off 1.3 overs).
Game two vs the Highlands was a much better performance by the Shoalhaven boys.
They fielded first and finished their 20 overs restricting Highlands to 9/82. The boys bowled in good partnership with Flynn Dunn being on a hat-trick and everyone taking quick wickets. Best bowlers were Flynn Dunn (2 for 2 off 2 overs), Tobias Eyland (2 for 3 off 2 overs), Ryan Malecki (2 for 7 off 3 overs) and Riley Ingram (2 for 10 off 2 overs).
The Shoalhaven boys batted well and started strong with Ryan Malecki (49 including seven 4s) and Jarrad Griffith (25 including one 6 and two 4s) getting the runs on the board. They reached the Highlands total in the 14th over with no loss of wicket.
The boys take on Illawarra next Sunday with the finals in the afternoon.
