THE breakout season for Sanctuary Point's Elecia Parrott has continued, after she was recently named in not one but two New South Wales representative squads.

After playing a starring role in helping her Greater Western Sydney under 20s Fury side progress to the 2018 Netball NSW Samsung Premier League grand final, which they lost 56-44 to North Shore United, the Nowra High School student has been named in both the NSW open mixed team, as well as making it through to phase two of the under 19s state selection process.
Joining Parrott in the mixed opens side, which will compete in Melbourne next Easter, is former Shoalhaven product Sean Gray – who has previously represented both the Australian open men’s and under 23s sides.
Rounding out the squad are Aneeka Marcozzi, Angela Williams, Ben Hamer, Brad Halton, Brittany Berry, Emily Moore, Emily Nesbitt, John George, Jordan Bedingfield, Matt Gauci, Mitch McBurnie and – with Tom Portelli the coach and Brooke Berry the manager.
While in the under 19s selection process, Parrott, who plays for Blacktown City in Sydney, is one of 52 girls still in contention for the final squad, which will compete at the 2019 National Netball Championships in Brisbane from Wednesday, April 10 – Tuesday, April 16.
