Lucas Benjamin Harris, 36, of Coolangatta was charged with aggravated sexual assault - break and enter with intent and sexual intercourse without consent.
Court papers said police alleged Harris met a woman, who he knew, at the North Nowra Tavern on February 13 last year.
After talking and having a couple of drinks, Harris allegedly propositioned the woman, who refused his advance, before she went home.
