Racegoers turned out in good numbers to support the 2018 Mollymook Cup at Nowra’s Archer Racecourse on Sunday, October 21.

The Cup was won by Feisty Fox from the Nowra stable of Robert and Luke Price. Feisty Fox, ridden by Winona Costin, edged out Charlie Chap by a nose and Sacred Son by a head.
The Bede Murray Memorial was won by Sparsholt, giving jockey Adrian Layt his second consecutive Bede Murray Memorial win.
The first memorial race of the day – the Eddie Latta Memorial – was won by Grand Awakening.
Away from the racetrack Fashions on the Field entrants showcased their clever, creative and colourful raceday fashion.
Melissa Whipp was judged Fashionable Filly ahead of runner-up Jessica Willmer.
The best-dressed gent was Gideon Dhinakaran and the runner-up was Andrew McCabe.
The elegant lady competition was won by Rae Studdert ahead of Eliza McCabe.
