RYAN James has taken out the Nowra-Bomadery Jets’ first grade Best and Fairest Award (Syd Weller Trophy), as well as Player’s Player, at the club’s presentation on Saturday.

Other first grade awards went to Matt Rouen (Coach’s Cup), Zac Kershaw (Best Forward) and Jake Gould (Best Back), while reserve grade’s went to Jackson Oakes (Best and Fairest – James Wellington Memorial Award), Lance Atkins (Most Improved), Peter Mackay (Best Forward) and Keldon McLachlan (Best Back).
Austin Thompson (Best and Fairest), Ryan Pye (Best Back), Max Feast (Best Forward) and Mitchell Kaharpaa (Most Consistent) were acknowledged in the under 18s, while the women’s league tag awards went to Jessica Ward (Best and Fairest), Katelyn Farrell (Most Improved), Krissy Falzon (Most Consistent), Tilly Locke (Coach’s Award) and Talia Atfield (Coach’s Cup).
Other club awards presented on the night, at Shoalhaven Ex-Servicemens Sports Club, went to Ryan James (Les Moulds Memorial – Most Improved), Jackson Oakes (President’s Award), Susan and Mark Edwards (Jack Atfield Memorial Clubperson), Jessica Ward (Rookie of the Year – female), Austin Thompson (Rookie of the Year – male), Belinda Holt (life member) and Peter Atfield (Jet of the Year).
