The men's team, featuring Shoalhaven Heads-Berry’s Matt White, Culburra’s Martin Thompson and Bomaderry’s Darren Jones, had a strong back end of the season while the under 20s were unlucky not to make the playoffs, as the under 18s showed promise in their first season.
With this being the case, goalkeeper White, who also captained the Flame this season, took out the first grade Player’s Player award.
“I’m absolutely honoured to receive the Player's Player award for South Coast Flame’s first grade men’s side,” White said.
“It's always nice to be recognised by your team mates.
“Thanks for a great season and can't wait to come back even stronger next year.”
The other two first grade awards went to Matthew Mazevski (Best and Fairest) and Andrew Bova (Most Improved).
In the under 20s, the award went to Daniel Lucas (Best and fairest), Jayden Nikolovski (Player’s Player) and Terrance Jah (Most Improved), while in the under 18s, Ethan Len (Best and Fairest and PLayer’s Player) and Josh Montgomery (Most Improved) received recognition.
