People can join the committee's fight against poverty and celebrate their communities during a family fun day on Tuesday, October 9 at Parramatta Park, Nowra East.
The event goes from 8.30am to 11am.
The Salvation Army will supply a free breakfast, there will be lucky draw prizes, entertainment, a jumping castle, a three-on-three basketball competition and information on local community services.
Shoalhaven City Council is one of the event’s partners.
Council’s Learn to Ride track will also be officially opened on the day.
You can bring your old bike helmet to the event and trade it in for a new and safe one free from the Roads and Maritime Services.
This event should be fresh in many people’s minds.
The 2017 event, booked in for October last year, was called off due to rain.
It was then held in January this year and was a great success.
Next week’s event is sure to be just as good and a perfect thing to do in the school holidays.
