The Shoalhaven Mariners Baseball Association are looking for boys and girls aged 4 to 14 years old for our upcoming 2018-2019 inter-club summer season being held at Ison Park, South Nowra, starting in a few weeks.

T-ball this year will be run by coach Michael “Squizzy” Taylor and senior players.

They will be playing a few games of cat and mouse which gives them the skills of base running and also a new game “Hit 3 and Go” which works on a variety of skills from hitting, fielding and counting for the first few weeks until everyone becomes comfortable with the game. They will then form teams to play each other every Friday night starting in a few weeks.

It will be great to see the parents getting out with the kids and cheering them on as they learn the skills while having fun.  

Combined Zooka and Junior Pitch league will be run this year by coach Wayne Parrot and other accredited coaches to be assigned.

They will be teaching children about correct pitching, tee hitting and base running, before forming teams to play against each other, allowing each participant a chance to learn new positions in the field.

They will also build and strengthen their already formed skills and acquire new skills along the way.
