BOTH Bomaderry Tigers men’s teams were victorious in their major semi-finals on Saturday at North Dalton Park, booking their respective grand final spots.

The first team straight through to the decider were the Tigers’ division three men’s side, who smashed the Ulladulla Dockers 13.8-86 to 5.2-32, thanks to four goals each from Jeremy Owens and Matthew Barnes.
Others to kick goals in the win were Christian Mills (three), Tobias Hanger and Nathan Thomas.
The Tigers, captain/coached by Brent Tyrrell, will now play the winner of Ulladulla and Figtree in the final in two weeks.
The second Tigers team into the big dance were the division two men’s side, who thumped the Bulldogs 12.13-85 to 2.3-15, behind six goals from Jordan Matthews.
Jack Boxsell, Brent Herdman, Andy Ellis, Blake Munilla, Siwa Harvey-Aziz and Nick Mackey all kicked majors in the win for the Tigers.
Glenn Keys’ Tigers will now face either Bulldogs or Kiama, who defeated Port Kembla on Saturday, in the division two final on September 22.
Unfortunately, the Tigers women lost their major semi-final 4.2-26 to 3.3-21 to the Wollongong Lions, despite goals from Lily Macdonald, Maddison Pearson and Grace Chapman.
They’ll now face the Bulldogs, who defeated Kiama 5.4-34 to 1.3-9, at Artie Smith Oval on Saturday for a spot in the final.
The fourth team through to the grand final are the Kiama Power, who held off the Wollongong Lions 11.5-71 to 8.11-59 in men’s division one.
The Power, who will enjoy the week off, will play either the Lions or Bulldogs, who ousted Figtree 8.11-59 to 8.3-53, for a spot in the grand final.
