Vanessa has conducted close to 20 solo shows in Australia and America, and has also been in many more group shows in Sydney, Melbourne, Hong Kong, New York, Berkeley and Portland and throughout regional NSW.
Her prizes include highly commended at Goulburn Regional Gallery in 2013, finalist in Portia Geach Memorial Award in 2017 and repeat finalist honours at the Archibald Prize in 2017 and 2018.
Vanessa has recently accepted a residency at Chateau Orquevaux, France.
Noted artist and educator, Allan Baptist OAM will curate the highly anticipated exhibition.
The best artwork will be awarded a $5000 prize, aptly titled the Kangaroo Valley Art Prize, judged by art consultant and advocate Natalia Bradshaw, and Therese Kenyon, prominent Sydney artist, educator, writer and former director of Manly Art Gallery.
The exhibition will be held from September 28 to October 1 at the Kangaroo Valley Hall and entry will be free.
All works will be available for sale via the online gallery from the opening night through to the end of October.
