A Bomaderry a man who led police on a pursuit and later returned a breath reading more than three times the limit has escaped conviction but has been fined $1000.

Liam Fletcher, 19, pleaded guilty to the high-range drink driving and police pursuit in Nowra Local Court.
Court papers said the pursuit happened on the Princes Highway at Nowra around 9.50pm on January 20.
He later returned a positive breath test and a breath analysis of 0.172.
Magistrate Gabriel Fleming accepted his guilty plea but did not record a conviction.
However, she placed him on a two-year good behaviour bond, fined him $1000 and disqualified him from driving for 10-months.
He also has to fit an Interlock device to his car for four years.
