During the tournament, staged at Bluesox Stadium – the venue for the 200 Sydney Olympics the Shoalhaven team will battle against teams from Wagga Wagga, Coffs Harbour, Hastings, Illawarra, Central Coast and Newcastle in the men’s B division.
Taylor’s squad this year features Andrew Provest, Blake Mitchell, Brenton McMahon, Edan Kelly, Gabe Tate, Jack Middleton, Jayden Brain, Jordan Butfield, Kai Meuronen, Keiren Harris, Kyle French, Lee Lawson, Leith Grant, Michael Vine and Stuart Raymond – with Stuart Raymond as assistant coach.
This year marks the 10th year Shoalhaven has sent a team to the championships, with their best result being 2010, when they team lost the final to Newcastle.
Shoalhaven’s Nicholas Fisher and Andrew Pearson will be be at the tournament, playing for the Illawarra under 18s side.
