Workplace Learning Shoalhaven hosts the awards and arranges industry work placement for over 800 students annually with over 400 Shoalhaven employers.
Industry work placement enables employers to provide real, industry-based skills to students as part of the courses they are studying for their HSC.
In addition to this Workplace Learning Shoalhaven is active in creating opportunities for students to commence apprenticeships and traineeships whilst still at school.
These together with the VET courses provide great scope for young people to obtain industry skills and an industry qualification whilst completing their HSC.
This represents a great partnership between industry, schools and the students concerned.
Workplace Learning Shoalhaven would like to thank our Exceptional Host Employers for 2018.
Bakehouse Espresso Group, John K Engineering, Trusty Steed Horse Riding Academy, Storybook & Coolawarra Alpaca Stud, Albatross Musical Theatre Company, Bomaderry Bowling Club, Simmark, I.T Basecamp, Shoalhaven City Council.
Without the support and enthusiasm of employers, this program would not be such a success.
