James Stuart Wright, 40, pleaded guilty to charges of possessing ammunition without holding a licence, two counts of possessing prohibited weapons and possessing an anabolic or androgenic steroidal agent in Nowra Local Court.
Court papers said officers from the Shoalhaven Target Action Group executed a search warrant on his property in Sanctuary Point on January 15 this year.
During the search of a shed at the rear of the home, officers found 98 rounds of .22 calibre ammunition, a crossbow, a handheld Taser and a quantity of anabolic steroids.
Court papers said officers located nine glass vials and a bottle containing anabolic or androgenic steroidal agent.
Magistrate Clare Farnan handed Wright a three-month suspended jail sentence and fined him $800.
