The athletes were taking part in the Shoalhaven Zone High School carnival and they were all primed to do well.
There was a reward awaiting the athletes for doing well at the zone event.
The best performing athletes will now get to take part in the regional carnival to be held in Canberra.
Local athletes, given the form they showed at the zone carnival, are sure to do themselves proud at the regional event.
The Shoalhaven, be it on the track or on the field, has many wonderful athletes in its ranks who will do the area proud.
Well done to all the athletes who took part in the zone event and good luck to those heading to the regional event.
