Mrs Sudmalis said ABC Illawarra and ABC South East did a “phenomenal job” in the region.
She said suggestions there needed to be more coverage in regional areas was not true for her electorate.
“I think most countries have a national network and we want transparency,” Mrs Sudmalis said.
“There are suggestions there needs to be more coverage of the regional areas, but I think our ABC reporters are doing a particularly good job.

Speaking about the ABC on the South Coast and Far South Coast in Parliament on Monday, Mrs Sudmalis said they did a “phenomenal job”
She made particular note of ABC South East’s coverage of the Tathra fires in March.
“I have the utmost respect for them,” Mrs Sudmalis said.
