Colin David Ingram, 45, pleaded guilty to two charges of supplying a prohibited drug in Nowra Local Court on Wednesday, May 16.
Court papers revealed Ingram twice supplied methylamphetamine or ice in Nowra in May last year.
On both occasions the purchaser, a woman know to police, arranged to buy the drugs through two other people, with Ingram arriving to make the deliveries in the Nowra CBD riding a BMX pushbike.
On May 17 he delivered 0.27g of ice for $250 to the woman in Harry Sawkins Park, while on May 25 he supplied 0.6 of a gram of the drug for $100 at the Woolworths Car Park.
Ingram also pleaded guilty to entering enclosed lands, two counts of shoplifting and two counts of possessing a prohibited drug.
The court heard he was caught in Coles Nowra shoplifting on April 24 this year, having taken a razor and razor blades and four USB chargers valued at $128.
He had been banned for life from the store in July 2017 for repeated shoplifting offences.
As police searched his bag they also discovered a stylus pen, a self adjusting table, a marker pen and wireless earphones all valued at $44 from The Reject Shop.
The search also revealed one gram of cannabis leaf and 0.6 grams of ice.
Magistrate Gabriel Fleming heard Ingram had a lengthy criminal history of drug and stealing offences.
She said there was no alternative to jail and sentenced him to a 12-month sentence from April 24, with a non-parole period of eight months.
He will be eligible for release on December 23.
Magistrate Fleming also ordered he surrender $250, the proceeds of crime.
